You know, it's a bit odd not being at college anymore. This is the time of year when I would be just getting ready for finals-- not particularly organized, just trying to have all my review sheets in the same place. I was never very good at taking notes in class-- Louise was stellar at that, I have to say-- and I very rarely referred to them while studying. I knew how distracted I was when I took them; I wouldn't trust me at all. Besides, by junior year, most of my finals were papers, not tests.

But this is the time of the year when we'd be getting ready, thinking a bit about home. Not quite the time yet to be pulling all-nighters fuelled by soda-- we were almost strictly a Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper household, none of this coffee business-- culminated by throwing up nothing but liquid in the bathroom at seven in the morning, but getting there. Getting closer, you know. Normally, it would be the time that I'd start thinking about going home and now, to my surprise, I find I'm already there.

I've been reading through 1sentence and really wanting to do something for it, but a lot of the pairings I'd like are already spoken for. Although many of the Utena ones are available... huh, anyway. Been meaning to rec some of them, and I think one of my favorite's is dev_chieftain's XuQu table, which is complete and glorious. It's also really fantastic, and knows when to go for lyrical and when to go for concise. I can't pick a favorite, they're seriously all that lovely, although #22 is just so Xu.
