Dare you to move, dare you to move
Mar. 6th, 2005 03:20 amI'm calling myself officially burned out and midterms haven't actually started yet. This is probably going to be a problem.
( Mythical beasts and fanfic-madlib )
My original plan for spring-break was to go home and catch up on sleep and maybe take a nice, scenic walk now and then. Less than a week before spring break begins, I find myself instead making plans to fly across the country alone to haphazardly hopscotch-skip from relative to relative across California, attend a religious retreat, and interview a bunch of people I don't know.
If you know me (which you probably do not, and that's okay) you probably started snorting pretty hard when I said "alone" and you're shaking your head by now. Because, you know, I have a sense of adventure like a hermit crab, and pretty much the social skills of a hermit crab as well. So, like, all of this is pretty brave in Thorne-terms. (I have to admit though, I only started the plan because I thought no one would actually put me up and I wouldn't have to go.) I'm hoping things will work out in the end like Italy did last year.
