I tried counting sheep, but there's one I always miss

I've spent the last few days feeling a bit staggered from the aftermath of the hurricane and various family emergencies which all seemed to arise within the last two weeks. People have had fights, passed away, tried to do unwise things, gotten sick, gotten diagnosed, and it all leaves me feeling like one particularly unhappy monkey. I'm just going to get depressing and rude if I harp on about it though, so.

I am not taking the approach of this film very well. Speaking of that fandom, dev_chieftain wrote a great short fic focusing on Chaos and Cloud. It's quick and nasty, like a sucker punch in the dark, and I enjoyed it very much. Check out Somnabulent.

Still working on drabbles. It's been a tough week. Louise called just to tell me she was drinking bubble tea for the first time, and that she was spitting the pearls at people. I've never been more proud.
