Very sorry to anyone who was talking to me online tonight, because I had Louise on the phone for the majority of it and it took the majority of my attention and hand-phone-keyboard coordination skills. And I can't just ignore her. You'd think I could, because I certainly learned how to do it in college, and that was working under the added factor of her actual physical presence, when she'd set things on fire to get my attention. But you see, so much of Louise is supplemented by her facial expressions. And with her on the phone, I have to listen extra hard to suss out if she's--
A) Lying as matter of habit.
B) Lying with intent to lie.
C) Lying with humorous yet not quite obvious intent.
D) Telling the truth.
E) On fire.
Kidding. You know that I love you, Louise, and think that you are very smart and interesting.

After the exciting colonoscopy adventures, I ended up at Sam's Club for something. Didn't find it, of course, but had a good time wandering the aisles and taking monstrous advantage of the free samples. I think the spiced chai sample lady was getting ready to hit me upside the head with a serving platter.
While I was in there, I saw some advertisement for HD-TV which used a lot of Olympic footage, and so passed some more agreeable moments staring at Michael Phelps's ass while eating Swedish meatballs. Possibly there's a metaphor in that. Which reminds me-- I've been meaning to say that Golden Goggles made me think that Ian Crocker needs to cut his hair and shave, like, whoa, because he looked sort of like a psychotic backwoods preacher for a while. But I take back my harsh words because he actually did shave and looks rather a lot better, as evidenced here. Scroll back a bit. Probably the bit where he's soaking wet and mostly naked helps.
