And he only loves what he can see
Jun. 6th, 2006 01:13 pmI was talking to
soranokumo last night, and I ended up confessing to her that I felt I had absolutely nothing to say about anything. So, I looked through my old files and decided to let other people say stuff for me.
...actually, it's sort of a lie because I do have stuff I want to say, about a lot of things-- Swan Lake, the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile, the pool, and Fred the icecream man being foremost in my memory-- but there's just this very weird thing where the fantastically clever things I compose in my head don't magically appear on the screen just by thinking them. I don't know what's up with that either.
It has apparently been Obscure Fandom Discussion Month, though. I mean, certainly there's also been reams of discussion on the oft-beat FFVII, but that can wait. All this Crisis Core and Dirge stuff makes me want to hide in a hole, anyway.
( Metal Gear Solid 3, Silent Hill, Vagrant Story, FFVIII, and where they all intersect on the topic of hats. Also, Jello. )
...I realize that I am not a classy sort of person, nor one who comes off as very intelligent, but just you wait. I am going to talk about Swan Lake*. I am going to talk about Swan Lake so much. Ballet, man. When it comes to high-class discussion, that's like a trifecta or something-- all of the qualifying factors converge.
*Of course, it will all be for naught, as what I will talk about regarding Swan Lake is not at all classy. But it is the thought that counts.
