An undead monkey. Top that.
Jul. 9th, 2006 12:22 amWhat I miss most about lifeguarding—apart from the casual attire, the laidback company, the free frozen confections, the time to read, the entertainment value of work-related mishaps, the chance for exercise, ample opportunities to practice amateur taxidermy... uh, one of the things I miss about lifeguarding, aside from all the other advantages previously stated, is the fact that it’s a damn sight more interesting to write or talk about than, say, my present job.
(My current job does give me a few taxidermy opportunities every now and then, but there’s no free ice cream. If you’re not getting free ice cream, well, what good is it?)
Anyway, I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2, which was ricockulous but very enjoyable.
( Quick impressions of the movie )
So, yes! Very silly, but I had a great time watching it. Might even catch it again at some point. (You know, the most times I ever saw a movie in a theater was five. But at least three of those times, I had free tickets, so.) But, on to the music.
( I May Never Sleep Again: Quiet and creepy music post. Also, a poll. )
I think we're done here.
