I just saw Pan's Labyrinth this evening and oh my God, I feel gutted but also so happy, the way I feel whenever I see a really awesome movie for the first time. Totally gutted. And also still creeped out by some of the scenes. Man.

I think the last time I got this affected by a movie was Brokeback Mountain. (If you didn't like Brokeback Mountain, please allow the fragile remains of my broken heart, which are small enough to pass through the eye of the needle, to remain further unshattered. And that reminds me; I have a meme from [livejournal.com profile] thebaconfat that I need to fill out about my favorite movies.) Anyway. It's great. I cried. Go see it. Now I'm going to talk about my constant battle with inanimate machinery.

Also. Dear [livejournal.com profile] flidgetjerome: I love you. Thank you for not letting me do stupid things. At least, not any more stupid than usual.

In stuff not related to my life! You know, this has been a growing file for a couple of months, and we hit a reasonable number to stop at the other night, so. It's a sort of companion piece to 229 Things Sephiroth Never Expected To Say On The Phone.

As always, [livejournal.com profile] twigcollins came up with the really good ones.
