August is drawing to a close, and here is the last entry for it. I'm kind of proud. Generally, I lose steam for this sort of thing, like, less than a week into the project, so it feels nice to have accomplished it, though I didn't get half as much non-entry-writing done as I'd have liked to. But now I have a whole bunch of drabble prompts and a couple of other things on the verge of finish, so hopefully that'll continue.
If I were any good, I would have worked up something cool for the last entry, but I have not. What I wanted to post isn't ready, and I couldn't make myself stay awake long enough to edit it into submission. Damn, this post is becoming a total downer. Let's throw in some cool links briefly.
Tea Bag Kimono. Some people do have too much time on their hands, but I'm sufficiently impressed by this to totally look past that.
Shit My Dad Says. I still don't like Twitter, really. But this one made me chortle.
Return of the Pink Panther: Clouseau vs. Cato, round one and round two. I could watch comedic slapstick fights on youtube all night long. And I just might.
The 5 Creepiest Sex Scenes in Comics. So, apparently Disney bought Marvel comics today, so, uh, yeah. They're missing a lot of superdickery from that list, but hey, he's DC.
In conclusion, I'm going to call this entry off early, and go to bed. Be back sooner than you think, hopefully with stupid drabbles in hand. Thanks for putting up with this all month-- I probably wouldn't have kept doing it without all the awesome comments from people, and particularly the other folks like the Mews who were also trying the post-all-month project, and helped a lot with the egging on of things.
