I'M TOO UPSET TO POST. MY COUSIN HAS USURPED MY DREAM.

I gave notice at work today, which felt kinda weird, but I'm just glad I could do it. None of my co-workers knifed me in the face. (I did get some side-eye looks from my supervisors, who also did not talk to me for the rest of the day. I had hoped, by giving notice early in the morning, they would exclude me from the staff meetings about our new leadership candidates coming, but no dice.)
To close, I think the stories posted at Tor.com are sometimes very hit or miss, but I found I rather liked this one, from a while back: The Witch of Duva: A Ravkan Folk Tale. It's got a nice bite to it.
