To the panic room store!
Dec. 14th, 2014 11:21 pmI should probably answer some of the topics/questions people actually gave to me. From
squeemu!
Favorite apocalypse scenario? How do you survive? (Aside from cannibalism, I mean. That goes without saying.)
( You admit to being curious about cannibalism just a couple times, and then that's all anyone remembers about you )
I bought a Christmas tree today, which was a little depressing doing it without Louise. I just went to Home Depot and bought one; I didn't do the cutting down tradition because I figured I would possibly sit down in the field and start crying (probably because I would realize that without her, I now have to do ALL THE WORK ALONE in sawing it down), and that wouldn't be any good. I thought about skipping doing a tree this year, because my living room is still a disaster, and I'm not even sure where I'll put the damn thing. But having done it now, I feel better about it. I keep seeing Christmas presents or stuff I would have bought for her, and that results in a cycle of "Ooh, hey - No, wait - Ohhh, I just made myself sad now..."
I like to think she had a hand in getting me my new job, though. So, I figure she's still hanging around, only now she can drink all the damn Asti she wants for the holidays. It's a nice thought.
