Blow my whistle, baby

Every now and then, I mean to do a "Best of" entry filled with AIM conversation excerpts. Problem is, so many of you are brilliant, I'd never be able to choose. So I tried to narrow it down further, and realized that was even harder because I had ten friggin' pages of witty things kadrin said just today.

So, here are recent conversational tidbits from him, covering but not limited to: Utena Katamari, Naked Katamari, Kadrin's lies about Australia, games they should make, prawns, the metric system, German, cannibalism, FFVIII with mecha, and gay marriage.

Was going to leave in the discussion on "that utterly annoyed and bitchy feeling you get when you encounter a technically well-written story that torks you off because it bastardizes a pairing or characterization you like a very particular way, and people are squealing over it and you can't say anything because you'll look like a total asshole if you do" but since we were citing specific examples, it'd probably cross into assholery. (And don't be so damn paranoid, we weren't talking about any of you.)
