It's the year of the rooster, and I had a joke about it being the year of the metal cock, but it seems rude to make it on Ash Wednesday. Which it is also. Happy Ash Wednesday! Lovely weather for Ash Wednesday, It feels vaguely wrong somehow, like the world should be grey and wet and suffused with guilt. Instead, it's cool and clear. I'm not complaining.

So, I realize the Superman site I linked to yesterday is down from excessive hits, but you can still visit the original messageboard thread it got started on, which has more than Superman. You really ought to; I've spent the last hour crying with laughter at some of this stuff.
