Every time I watch Top Gun, I forget how ridiculously over the top it is. And even though you'd think it would be impossible, I even forget how ridiculously gay it is. I mean, this doesn't even deserve the slightly classier "homoerotic" label.
twigcollins gleefully pointed out the Top Gun Gay Bar Speech, and I pretty much agree with that whole thing.
I also always forget how much I laugh at Hot Shots, but then I go back and read the quotes. I only get worried when I realize that Milale is agreeing.
( So, anyway, you can read all about the trip to New York under here, or you can go do something else for fifteen minutes and probably be much better off in the long run )
In conclusion, New York kicked my ass but I got what I came for so I'm quite content.
This thingamabob is kind of nifty. I usually just glance at my user info once a month or so and vaguely note if the numbers have gone up or down. Of course, it also makes me a little paranoid now that I can see the exact dates people are jumping ship. It makes me want to go back in the archives and find what I was talking about so that I can make speculations about what the breaking point might have been. "Was it the dolphin sex? That six pages of AIM about Reno and Zack performing acts of public lewdness, alcohol poisoning, and general depravity? The curiosity about the pope's underwear? Well, I mean, who among us has not wondered if the pontiff is a boxers or briefs man? I can't live in a world where people don't consider this viable discussion!"
And then I get distracted by something shiny and it's all good. Eh. I just wonder sometimes, you know, what people are reading for.
