Huh, "The Turkish Song of the Damned" just came on my mp3 player. I should have included that one. Also, I like it when people tell me if they liked a song, but it is not necessary.
So I'm sitting here wondering if I need something else for this entry. I have a fun meme I could use, but I was holding that in reserve for later this week, in case I don’t finish writing the entry I mean to post tomorrow. I've been trying to stay one entry ahead of myself this month, because I have a neurotic inward conviction that all entries have to have some kind of interesting content to them and be longer than a paragraph. It would be cheating just to post an entry that says, "Hello, I am Tuesday's entry."
This is actually why I usually only post once a month. And why this month is being such a challenge. Anyway, I've decided we don't really need any more content, so I am going to just leave you with a last link that is slightly old, but still good. You probably saw the last time the South Korean parliament got into a good ol', knock-down, drag-out brawl on all the news stations back in December—there were sledgehammers and firehoses involved!
But they did it again in July, which delights me unspeakably, this time brawling over media bills. My younger brother reminded me about it, as he's living over there currently. Link has both article and youtube video; be sure to watch it. Twig noted, it's kind of hilarious to listen to the voiceover try to calmly explain the debate, as though nothing unusual is happening, all while people are piling furniture and lunging at each other. Politics, folks!
