With my last breath, I curse Zoidberg!
Feb. 11th, 2015 09:51 pmOkay, it's been almost a month since I started the new job, so I guess I can kind of try and evaluate it now.
( Well, at least here you'll be treated with dignity. Now strip naked and get on the probulator. )
In general, things have been pleasant. Normally this is the part where I fear something terrible happens, and indeed, I actually flooded again for the fifth time when I came back from a work trip to St. Louis last week, but not even that can get me down completely. (For one thing, I haven't bothered repairing the flood damage from last time yet, so it actually worked out and had minimal impact, all things considered. And now I am trying to get the floor tiled, which is difficult because it requires Being A Kinda Responsible Adult at, like, contractors and tile stores, and it is all a very draining act. But eventually I'll have a floor. One hopes.)
Also, I got stuck in Philadelphia for a while yesterday, which could have been dire indeed. But eventually I fled the state with everything intact.
I feel like I should end this entry on something else. Uh. Here is Sergei Polunin, a very attractive Russian ballet dancer, wearing only a pair of flesh-colored skintight pants and doing a dance choreographed to Hoizer's "Take Me To Church". It is totally worth watching.
