I didn't make this. I usually don't pimp these things either, but I owe favors. A paragraph of fic, an interesting link, a picture, a compliment, a nuclear launch code-- you'll never know unless you do it.
I've been reading Amazing Pace which is probably better than Beneath the Surface because it's much more factual and very useful if you're like me and want the exact who-what-when-where facts for swimming and the slashing thereof. I'm thinking of typing up excerpts, because for a factual book, it amuses me with the way it phrases things. I'm sure it doesn't mean to sound all homogay, but damn. Also, there's a picture of him doing his first pre-meet shave which makes me think of the Harry Potter fandom and its similar badtouch!connotations.
One of the people on my friends-list drew my attention to someone illegally selling posters of Zack from FFVII, something I had vaguely noted on one of the communities I follow. (Locked entry, otherwise I'd link it.) On the one hand, it's not like fanartists also don't sell prints and commissions. On the other hand, they usually did the artwork themselves, and didn't just take an official image, slap a border on it, and sell it. I mean, both illegal, but one at least has a little more effort put into it. I feel like the poster of Zack should have at least had a mustache drawn on, or something.
Basically, what I'm saying with this, is that it made me think that there should be a poster of Zack that says "Ceci n'est pas une Cloud." Or vice versa, I'm not picky.
